A natural complement to the modular Cleo seating system, this series of side tables is characterized by an elliptical geometry. Its main feature is the top, available with a new metallic finish (Galaxy) or covered in Eco-Skin in 8 colors from the Molteni&C range. The top has a pronounced thickness in the center to house the solid wood legs in Eucalyptus, Black Oak, and Sunrise Oak, curved to match the shape of the top. The edge of the top gradually narrows towards the free sides, becoming almost a thin sheet. The table is available in two different heights and widths.

Description

The side tables from the Cleo series, designed by Vincent Van Duysen, feature a shape resembling an ellipse. The top is available in a metal Galaxy finish or covered in Eco-Skin in colors from the Molteni&C range, with a pronounced thickness at the center to support the legs made of solid Eucalyptus, Black Oak, and Sunrise Oak, curved to match the profile of the top. The profile gradually tapers to the edges, almost becoming a thin sheet. Available in two different heights and widths.

The base is made of solid wood with a painted metal structure, ensuring stability, while the top can be finished in Eco-Skin, offering an elegant and soft texture. The painted version of the top is made from medium-density fiberboard. The system does not allow for reductions or variations in finishes, and the tables cannot be stacked or fixed together.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
