Description

Unlike traditional seating systems with loose fabric or straw coverings, Yoell introduces an innovative anatomically shaped shell, molded with a thin layer of polyurethane and seamlessly integrated into the structure. This design approach eliminates any visual or functional separation between the seat and backrest, delivering exceptional comfort and an enveloping feel.

Yoell’s upholstery is available in fabric, leather, or regenerated leather from the Molteni&C collection. Some versions feature removable covers, while the regenerated leather option is non-removable. Additionally, upon request, the armchair is available in a fire-retardant version that complies with BS 5852 and TB 117-2013 standards.

From a technical perspective, the structure includes non-slip plastic or felt feet, while the shell is made of molded plastic with cold-foamed flexible polyurethane padding to ensure a soft and comfortable seat. The inner lining consists of bonded velvet, cotton, and polyester fiber.

Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
