The Milanese designer Rodolfo Dordoni has designed a collection of chairs suitable for any space and circumstance. Two chairs, two bucket armchairs, a pouf, one bar stool with backrest and another without and a complementary coffee table, these are the components of the Devon collection. Each element of the Devon collection expresses the value of craftsmanship, which is manifest in the way the top quality materials are processed, with details expressed with dedication and passion. All the frames are made of solid ash with eucalyptus, walnut, graphite oak, grey or black oak veneers. Seats and backrests upholstered in fabric or leather chosen from the Molteni&C range.

Description

The product features a solid stained wood frame, ensuring durability and strength. The supporting feet are made of non-slip plastic material, providing stability and safety during use.

Regarding the seating options, including armchairs, chairs, and stools, the internal structure is composed of a solid fir wood frame (Picea abies) and wood particle panels, reinforced with elastic straps to offer comfortable and long-lasting support. The padding is made from high-density, high-resilience polyurethane foam with variable density, ensuring a comfortable and durable seating experience. The seat cover is made of bonded velvet, adding elegance and softness.

For the backrests of armchairs, chairs, and stools, the internal structure is made of Polimex, a composite material consisting of polyester and polyurethane, covered with high-resilience, high-density polyurethane foam. The external cover is made of bonded velvet, providing both a sophisticated appearance and resistance over time.

The external cover is removable, as specified in the attached label, and can be selected based on specific aesthetic and functional requirements.

The product is also available in a fire-resistant version, complying with TB117 or BS5852 safety standards, providing an added level of security.

Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
