Description

Ma Belle blends the organic charm of mid-century design with the craftsmanship of fine woodworking reinterpreted through modern production. Inspired by the aesthetics of the 1950s and ’60s, its sculptural form is defined by light, flowing lines that create a visually airy structure. Crafted in solid American walnut, the chair features a beautifully shaped backrest carved from a single 100 mm thick piece, with cross-braced legs forming an elegant X-frame. The seat, made of upholstered poplar plywood, is secured by four turned brass spacers for maximum stability. In the version with armrests, the design acquires a unique continuity, connecting the rear of the chair to the front legs in a single, fluid gesture. Thanks to its balanced proportions and rich choice of finishes—ranging from soft velvets and bouclé to luxurious leathers—Ma Belle is ideal for both home interiors and contract spaces.
