Matégot Nagasaki chair is part of a successful and innovative collection Architect and designer modern Mathieu Matégot for Gubi. 1954, Nagasaki is one of the few three-legged chairs and is still best known piece of Matégot. It is included in the permanent exhibition at the Vitra Design Museum.
The collection counts Matégot chairs, tables, hangers and libraries from working extremely light and creative. A new aesthetic that ranges from organic forms and contemporary design. Mathieu Matégot (1910 – 2001) was a Hungarian designer and architect. It ‘was the first person to combine metal tubes with perforated plate; ritigulle, a technique that has patented a combination that characterizes particularly his work.
