The liquid polyurethane is foamed inside a closed mold where the coating has already been stretched oversize. The skin of the coating aggregates driven by polyurethane foam, creating creases and wrinkling different every time. The result is an armchair with a unique and evocative writing. This is the exclusive manufacturing of Sponge, the results of which are uncontrollable folds generated by the dynamics of this expansion, and ever-changing ripples on the surface of the coating.
