Its distinctive tapered triangular-section leg defines its aesthetic, while the revolutionary modular system, based on a limited number of assemblable components, reinterprets the concept of flexible design. When Ponti designs the Dezza and its variations, he is already 74 years old and living on the top floor of the house he designed on Via Dezza in Milan—a space that perfectly reflects his architectural vision.

Description

Dezza 24 embodies Gio Ponti’s refined elegance, blending lightness of form with modular practicality. The seasoned beechwood frame ensures durability, while the elastic fabric suspension system provides comfort and resilience. The polyurethane foam padding enhances softness, complemented by seat and back cushions filled with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The feet, available in open-pore black or white lacquered ash and, additionally, in Canaletto walnut, add a touch of sophistication. Upholstery options include Pelle Frau® leather, fabric, or a combination with a leather shell and fabric or Cavallino cushions, offered in a wide range of finishes. Removability is provided only for fabric cushions. Iconic details, such as the pair of leather-covered buttons on the cushions and the chromed brass ends of the assembly elements, highlight the artisanal craftsmanship and Ponti’s unmistakable design signature.
