Description

Glove-Up features an internal metal frame with elastic straps, ensuring durability and comfort. The padding is made of flexible cold-foamed polyurethane, covered with a bonded velveteen lining for added softness. The plastic feet provide both stability and lightness. The external cover is fully removable, as indicated on the attached label. The armchair has dimensions of 55.6 cm in width, 54 cm in depth, a seat height of 40.5 cm, and an overall height of 71.5 cm.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
