Description

Doda is a refined armchair featuring a metal frame with elastic straps and flexible cold-foam polyurethane padding, covered in bonded velvet. The upholstery can be made in a single material or a combination of leather and fabric in two variations: leather on the outside with fabric inside, or two different fabrics for the interior and exterior. The base includes non-slip plastic feet.

The brand is distinguished by innovative design, continuous research, and the adoption of advanced production techniques, supplying furnishings for museums, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, with collaborations from renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jean Nouvel, and Hannes Wettstein. Molteni&C received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro career award in 1994 and 2020, awarded by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Since 2012, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, it has exclusively reissued several iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, intended for private residences, special projects, or limited editions, faithfully respecting the original designs.
