Description

This compact armchair was conceived with the idea of reinterpreting traditional taste through softer lines and refined design, fully embodying the style of i 4 Mariani. Designed to create a cozy domestic retreat, it combines small dimensions with plush padding that invites relaxation and conversation. The structure is made of a tubular steel frame fixed to a moulded poplar plywood panel, while the seat features a suspension system with elastic belts in polypropylene and natural latex. Both frames are embedded in cold-formed polyurethane foam, moulded in specific shapes and covered with polyester wadding. The polyurethane foam complies with the Italian Classe 1IM fire resistance regulations and can be adapted to other international standards upon request. The base is fitted with four black PVC feet, with an optional steel swivel base available. Upholstery is offered in fabric or leather, with non-removable covers to preserve the armchair’s integrity and essential aesthetic.
