The Great Khan sofa has a raw finish, which suggests kit skins and carpets in the camps of nomadic peoples who live “under the crescent moon.” A large mantle of the skin consists of two skins of considerable thickness (4 mm) cut to live in tutt’ampiezza sewn in the middle and attached by means of two aluminum giant frogs. Sofa is made up of large and fluffy pillows stuffed with calibrated mixture of Gellyfoam® (technological material, consisting of a mix of foam patented by Edra in 2004) and Kapok (the lightest fiber in the world, called silk and vegetable extracted from the pods of an exotic tree, the Ceiba Pentandra.
