Aixia is a chair created by designer Eileen Gray and produced by Classicon brand. Frame in chromed steel tube. Gliders in solid mahogany. Upholstery: polyurethane with polyester fiber, fabric or leather.
Aixia was one of the cutting-edge sessions for the times and a favorite of Eileen Gray. She used this chair in all her apartments, sometimes in the dining room, sometimes at a desk. Even in 1929, when she turned a 40 sq m apartment in Paris, Rue Chateaubriand, into an atelier as a container of shining examples of aesthetics for Jean Badovici.
